Love affair
My life surrounds itself
With thoughts of something cold
My love affair with something
That I just can’t have
It’s luxurious, it’s sensual
It makes me feel wonderful
As it touches my tongue
I miss… ice cream
I think and dream of it
My life such a bore at times
All I can concentrate on
Is the cold sweet cream
Drop me in a tub of green tea ic
Leave me be, don’t save me out
My heaven and my world
Ends nicely to drown in the cold
Surround me so I don’t dwell
On the absence of something pined
Give me bowl after bowl
Until my gut can not feel no longer
My thirst and hunger quenched
With a forbidden desire for it
To have too much
Would be my own undoing…
Oh stuff it… (grabs another tub)
